The shape of the Nike OZ-6 3 pointed putter is intended to offer higher moment of inertia (MOI), which assists accuracy when an off-centre stroke is played. The green polymer insert, of the OZ-6, promotes longer contact between the ball and clubface to encourage a true golf ball roll, and, because the polymer is so lightweight, the weight is on the perimeter of the face, which permits the ball to remain on course. As with, all putters in the Nike OZ range, the OZ-6 is face balanced, to promote a squarer face on impact and offers dual sight lines to aid consistency squaring the putter face at address.
Nike OZ-4 Mallet Putter:
In keeping with the Nike OZ range of putters the OZ-4 has a high visibility polymer insert, is face balanced, has dual sight lines and has a milled face, to provide superior accuracy and predictability, but in addition to these features, the OZ-4 is centred shafted. Centre shafting is an ideal choice for golfer’s who are inclined to leave the club face open on impact, which causes the putt to be pushed to the right. By centring the shaft it becomes closer to the clubheads COG (centre of gravity) making it far easier to square the clubface to the ball, making for improvement in accuracy and, thus, end result.
