Christmas Day Kobe Shoes 2009-10
Although there is tough situation in the whole League due to the NBA Lockout, a schedule of the "Christmas Day" released yesterday. From the schedule people could see that the LA Lakers is coming across a horrible December, 11 of the 16 games will be away court which would make the Lakers boys tired in changing places.
The games on Christmas Day are attractive, and so are the sneakers the players wear on the court. It is obvious that every year, the shoes worn by the star players like Kobe or LeBron would be one of the most popular sneakers among the market. Kobe Shoes now are in the sixth signature shoes; however people are still much impressive by the sneakers last three years.
In 2008, NBA scheduled a number of games on Christmas Day. And the prime time matchup was between the LA Lakers and the Boston Celtics that was considered as a rematch of the previous year's NBA Finals. And the MVP guy Kobe Bryant was taking his Nike Zoom Kobe IV in his team color including yellow/purple/red.
In 2009, it was a chance to see both Kobe Shoes and LeBron Shoes on court at the same time. The marquee matchup of the day was LeBron James and the Cavs visiting L.A. to take on Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. Kobe at that day debut the Chaos edition of the Zoom Kobe V for the first time on the NBA court, while LeBron flaunted his all red Christmas Air Max LeBron VII.
And on last Christmas Day, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, and another famous guy Kevin Durant each wore their respective signature Nike basketball shoes in festive colorways that matched with the lively holiday spirit. In L.A., Kobe wore the Nike Zoom Kobe VI Grinch against LeBron James' Nike LeBron V2 Christmas. And In Oklahoma City, Kevin Durant took a vibrant yellow colorway of the Nike Zoom KD III; the shoe did bring him good luck for he finished with 44 points and lead the Thunder to victory.
And now let's back to this year, though we will not know now what would happen on the NBA court on the Christmas Day, it is undeniable that the sneakers that players wear will again lead to another hot topic among the public.
